The Art of Wine and Beer Making
Ingredients:
1/4 cup corn oil
2 onions
1 cup mushrooms
1/2 cup green pepper
1/4 flour
1 tsp. salt
2 cups milk
2 cups diced cooked turkey
2 egg yolks - beaten
1/4 cup white wine such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay or Pinot
Grigio
Place oil in saucepan, add onions, mushrooms, green pepper and brown
lightly, add flour, salt and milk.
Cook and stir until mixture
thickens, add turkey. Cook slowly for 5 minutes. Stir in beaten egg
yolks.
Add White Wine, remove from stove. Serve on pastry, buttered
toast or English muffins.
