Beer Burgers
Ingredients:
1 Kilo lean ground beef
1 Cup of beer
1 egg
1/4 cup dried bread crumbs
2 medium onions
3 Tbsp butter
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp basil
1 tsp thyme
Mix the ground beef with half a cup of beer, the egg, and a quarter cup dried
bread crumbs, then shape into patties. Place on the barbeque or in a grill and
cook until well browned. Slice the onions and sauté in the melted butter. Stir
in remaining half cup of beer, Worcestershire sauce, basil and thyme. Heat the
mixture through and serve spooned on top of the burgers.
