Baked Short Ribs
Ingredients:
2 lbs. spare ribs (cut as for sweet and sour)
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 ounces Cabernet Sauvignon (or another of your favorite red wines)
1 clove garlic (diced small)
Roll ribs in flour that has been seasoned with the paprika, salt and pepper.
Sear both sides of the ribs in hot fat. Place ribs in casserole dish, add wine
and garlic. Cover and bake in a slow 300 degree oven for 2 1/2 hours or until
tender.
